Naeun's Living alone _ Trip to Maastricht !

 

 

Hello everyone! Nowadays the weather is getting cold, so be careful not to catch a cold! On Saturday, I planned trip to Maastricht and luckily, the weather was so good and sunny! Yeah~! I heard that Maastricht is famous for high ardor for study, so I'd like to feel their study enthusiasm. In fact, rather than experiencing passion for study, it was such a enjoyable day because of sightseeing famous sites and trip to Maastricht(-3 

 

Trip to Maastricht !
 

 First stage of trip to Maastricht (1)
After arriving at the Maastricht station, go straight along the street for 10-15minutes, and then you can see a big bridge and river. That is 'Maas river' and 'Saint Servatius bridge'. It is a bridge that leads to the city center of Maastricht, and it connects new city and old city.

Next, you can see the city hall, which is the most famous building in the Maastricht. When I looked at the city hall, I thought that it is very beautiful as I heard that! Behind the city hall, there is a large square which is called as 'Marquet Square'. In Marquet Square, there are lots of street vendors.

After watching the city hall, we went to 'Saint Servatius chapel' which is our important trip point! It is said that Saint Servatius is the oldest chapel in the Netherlands. When I was in there, I felt as if I were in the magic world like school of Harry Porter!

Near the 'Saint Servatius chapel', there is a famous city library. Maastricht city library has a very unique forms, because it was remodeled on the style of church. So it looks like church instead of library.

I think the charm of trip is tasty food! So we entered the restaurant, ordered 2 steaks and one pasta! They were so tasty, so we could feel full enough.

One of the most impressive things that I felt in trip to Maastricht is night view! Especially, many lights that we saw on the bridge were fantastic. Also we could feel warm and lovely Christmas atmosphere

I strongly recommend trip to Maastricht to you who plan to travel in the Netherlands!

Hello~ I made spoon pizza with potatoes. I used to eat it at the restaurant in my home country and felt tempted to make it on my own. We can easily find and buy potatoes in Netherlands, so I decided to use them for the dough. I used rice cooker and frying pan because I don't have oven and microwave in my home. (It makes me very cumbersome to make something special to eat!)

Here are the ingredients needed to make spoon pizza. :
Potatoes, Tomato sauce, Milk, Onion, Paprika, Ham, Oil, Butter, Garlic, Cheese.
Actually, it depends on your preference or the ingredients you have in your refrigerator. Now, let's start!

1st step:)
Peel the potatoes and put them in the rice cooker. It will steam the potatoes.
I eat rice everyday so bought a rice cooker. If you don't have it, you can use microwave~

2nd step:)
cut the paprika, onion, and ham into slice.

3rd step:)

chop the garlic and stir-fry it in oil. It makes the ingredients tastes and smells better!

4th step:)

Put the paprika, onion, and ham in the frying pan and stir-fry them with garlic.

5th step:)
Pour the milk in the bowl.

6th step:)

When the potatoes steamed, put them in the bowl.

Mash the potatoes with milk!

8th step:)
Drop butter onto frying pan and put the mashed potatoes on it.
Make a shape in a circle.

9th step:)
Cover the mashed potatoes with pasta sauce.
(Originally it is right.. but I forgot to do it like this...)
And put all the ingredients you prepared and cover them with cheese.

10th step:)
Put a lid on it and wait until the cheese is melt.

Now, finished!!!

I'm sooooo full LOL

Although I made a mistake about the order and its appearance was little bit strange, it was really delicious!

After enjoying the meal, I had to do enormous amount of dishes... and even broke a dish during washing... It is always tough thing that makes some delicious foods for the person who lives alone:)..

However we cannot eat a piece of bread or cereal everyday! So try to make it easily like this and have a nice dinner~
